CONCERT IN A TAVERN
Oil on canvas. Relined.
93 x 67.5 cm.
Accompanied by a expert’s report by Professor Alessandro Delpriori, Florence, in copy.
A painting titled The Card Players held at the Uffizi Gallery, Florence, compares very well, which shows clear stylistic similarities both in the overall composition, the arrangement of the figures and the chiaroscuro. This is also the case with the painting Concert, listed at Fondazione Zeri under the no. 46510. Professor Delpriori dates the painting to ca. 1615-20.
