In einer für Beschey typischen leicht hügeligen und am Horizont ins Bläuliche ziehenden Landschaft sind auf einem gedachten Weg und im Vordergrund mehrere Figuren dargestellt, die zumeist mit Waren bedacht sind und somit als reisende Händler zu denken sind. Derlei Szenen sind häufig im Oeuvre von Beschey und so nimmt es nicht wunder, dass das vorliegende Gemälde diesem Künstler zugeschrieben wurde. (1330151) (13)
