Im Mittelpunkt des Gemäldes die beiden naturalistischen Geparden mit beigem, schwarz gepunkteten Fell, die Blickrichtung nach links, wohl eine Beute erspähend. Sie befinden sich inmitten der kargen Wüstenlandschaft der Savanne mit überwiegend gelb-braunen Gräsern, vor einigen grauen massiven Felsbrocken, auf deren linken Seite einige grüne Bäume stehen. Hervorragende Wiedergabe der prachtvollen Tiere in der Landschaft unter hohem, fast wolkenlosen hellblauen Himmel. (1230896) (3) (18)
