Brustbildnis von Christus, leicht nach rechts in rotem Gewand, schulterlangen lockigen Haaren, Vollbart und leicht gesenktem Kopf, den Blick nach unten gerichtet. Sein Haupt ist von einem hellen Nimbus umgeben, vor dem sonst dunkelgrauen Hintergrund. Malerei in reduzierter Farbigkeit, bei der die obere Gesichtshälfte und die Nasenspitze vom Licht beleuchtet werden, die traurig blickenden Augen jedoch verschattet bleiben.
