In vergoldetem nach oben hin seitlich hervorspringendem Rahmen mit Blütenfeston und Schleifendekor mit rückwärtigem Etikett des Rahmenherstellers J. Lorne & A. Haan.

Kniestück einer sitzenden Dame nach links gewandt in lindgrünem Kleid mit weißem transluzidem Überstoff und Rüschenbesatz. In ihrer Hand eine Blüte, ihren schlanken Hals eine Kette zierend.
Anmerkung:
Der in Livorno geborene Corcos wurde von Domenico Morelli beeinflusst, dessen Schüler er 1878 - 1879 war. In Paris lernte er Vincent van Gogh und Léon Bonnat kennen, dessen Malstil von Frauenportraits ihn inspirierte. Unter anderem schuf er Portraits auch von Kaiser Wilhelm II und seiner Frau (1904), sowie der Amélie von Orléans (Königin von Portugal) und Margaritha von Savoyen (Königin von Italien).
