Wie in den meisten Werken des Malers, ist auch hier der Einfluss der Landschafts- und Figurenmalerei von Jan Brueghel d.Ä. (1568-1625) zu erkennen. Thematisch überwiegen in seinem Werk gerade solche Dorflandschaften mit Figurenstaffage, wobei die warme Farbgebung der Gebäude als typisches Merkmal zu sehen ist.

In line with most works by the artist the painting on offer for sale in this lot also shows the influence of Jan Brueghel the Elder's (1568-1625) landscape and figural painting.
