Venus sitzt entkleidet, nur mit einem blauem Umhang, vor einer Säule unter rotem Velum und lässt sich von Nymphen Blumen und Obstschalen reichen. Im Hintergrund ein Satyr, darüber ein blütenstreuender fliegender Putto. Die Darstellung geht auf einen Kupferstich von Jan Harmensz Muller (1571-1628), nach Bartholomeus Spranger um 1591 zurück (Bartsch 73, Holstein 64). Die Farbgebung im Bild entspricht jedenfalls dem original Ölbild von Spranger. (11808817) (11)
