Bekannter Maler des italienischen Futurismo und Novecento. Der Maler wirkte ab 1909 in der Akademie Florenz, kam alsbald in Kontakt mit Filippo Tommaso Marinetti (1876 – 1944). 1920 beschickte er seine erste Einzelausstellung, 1952 Professur an der Florentiner Akademie. Sein Malstil ist in etwa vergleichbar mit dem zeitgleich in Deutschland gepflegten sozialen Realismus der Neuen Sachlichkeit.(1181633) (11)
