Holz, partiell goldgefasst, Messing und Bronze. Die Harfe mit aufwändigem Schnitzdekor, mit Fabelwesen, Anthemionblatt und Akanthusblatt sowie Doppelflötenspieler, Sphingen, Widderköpfen und Fruchtgebinde in Holz gearbeitet, partiell mit Ahorn furniert sowie partiell goldgefasst. Der Notenständer auf drei Füßen mit zentralem kannelierten Schaft. Ablagebrett und schräggestellte Notenauflage. Justierung in Messing.
Anmerkung:
Sebastian Erard (1752–1831) war ein französischer Instrumentenbauer elsässischer Herkunft. Gefördert durch eine Aristrokratin ließ er sich im klassischen Harfenbau ausbilden und brachte ab 1811 eine Harfe mit Doppelpedalmechanik auf den Markt. Nach seinem Tod 1831 übernahm sein Neffe Pierre Erard die Leitung des Unternehmens. (10912510) (2) (12)
