Das Bronzereiterstandbild inmitten des Platzes, umgeben von Marktständen unter großen Sonnenschirmen sowie Gebäuden, deren Erdgeschossarkaden mit ausgerollten Jalousien versehen sind. Reges Markttreiben mit Ständen, Personenstaffage und einem Hündchen im Vordergrund. Links am Bildrand die Gebäudekante der Signoria.
