Verso alter abgeriebener Klebezettel aus dem 19. Jahrhundert sowie zwei dunkelrote runde Lacksiegel mit Grafenkrone und legiertes Monogramm „DG“.

In Gestalt einer jungen, antik leicht bekleideten Frau, die eine Laute spielt, während ein weiblicher Putto ihr ein Notenblatt entgegenhält. Auf dem Pult ein geöffnetes Notenbuch, auf dem Steinboden ein weiteres Notenheft und ein gerolltes Notenblatt, daneben sinnbildhaft ein Stimmschlüssel. Im abgedunkelten Hintergrund links blaues Seidentuch, rechts steinerne Parkfigur, zu der die Lautenspielerin hochblickt. Überzeugende qualitätvolle Feinmalerei unter Betonung des für den Maler bekannten Sfumato-Effekts mit porzellanhafter Oberfläche.

Rubbed 19th century label and two round dark red lacquer seals with a count's crown and monogram “DG” in ligature on the reverse.
A finely-executed and compelling work with a striking sfumato effect and porcelain-like surface typical for van der Werff.
