Die Darstellung der Skulptur mit den ausgebreiteten Armen und dem wehenden Gewand betont das Schweben Gottvaters im Himmel. Original Fassung restauratorisch ergänzt.

Anmerkung:
Der Barockbildhauer erwarb 1678 das Meister- und Bürgerrecht Augsburgs. 1701/ 02 und 1706/ 07 war er Vorsteher und 1715 Kornpropst der Bildhauerzunft. Sein größter Auftrag als Bildhauer waren sechs Pfeilerfiguren für die Stadtkirche von Kloster St. Georg in Augsburg. (1030401) (18)

Notes:
The Baroque sculptor became a master and received citizenship in Augsburg in 1678. In 1701/ 02 and 1706/ 07 he was appointed dean and in 1715 provost of the sculptors guild. As a sculptor, his biggest assignment was to sculpt six pillars for the monastery church of St George's Monastery in Augsburg.
