Die Darstellung mit einem in einer Bucht anlegenden Segelboot, Ruinen und Figurenstaffage. Die Bucht gerahmt von mächtig hochziehendem, zum Teil im Nebel stehendem Felsgebirge rechts, sowie einem links ins Meer hinaus vorstoßendem, hohem Felsen. Rechts am Ufer Ruinenrest eines rundbogigen Tores zwischen Felsgestein. In der Bucht ein Segelschiff mit Fischern in ruhigem Gewässer. Im Zentrum am Ufer zwischen Steinen ein Fischerpaar mit einem Knaben. Warme Lichtstimmung eines Spätnachmittags, in südlicher Atmosphäre mit hohem Wolkenhimmel. (10304839)
