der Familie Thurn und Taxis

Holz, geschnitzt, weiß und grün gefasst. Beine, Sitzfläche und Rückenlehne sowie die Zarge sind elegant geschweift, mit Blüten und Blättern beschnitzt. Die Sitzfläche und die Rückenlehne sind hochgepolstert. Rest., Fassung erneuert und teilweise besch. sowie Fassungsverluste.

Set of four Baroque chairs from the German princely House of Thurn und Taxis
Height: 90.5 cm.
Width: 57 cm.
Depth: ca. 51 cm.
Germany, probably ca. 1760 and later.

Carved wood, white and green polychromy. Seats and backrest with sprung upholstery. Restored, polychromy renewed and partially damaged and polychromy blemishes.
