Szene aus dem Alten Testament, in der die Tochter des Pharaos den auf dem Nil ausgesetzten Mosesknaben findet.

Von Otto Pankok angeregt zur Malerei stellte Trillhaase verschiedentlich aus, wurde jedoch 1933 von den Nationalsozialisten als sog. entarteter Künstler mit Malverbot belegt.

Signed “Adalbert Trillhaase” lower right, old exhibition label on the reverse.
In wooden frame.

Old Testament scene in which the daughter of the pharaoh finds the abandoned baby Moses on the Nile.

Inspired by Otto Pankok to paint, Trillhaase exhibited variously, but was banned from painting by the National Socialists in 1933 as a so-called degenerate artist.
