Bronzebüste eines Epheben

Gesockelt auf einem rund gedrehten weißen Marmorsockel. Original Befestigung mit dem Sockel durch große Flügelschraube.

Feiner Bronzeguss, im gekräuselten Haar exakt ausgearbeitet, schöne dunkelgrün-graue Patina. In der Art der Antike nach Vorbildern etwa des Ephebenkopfes von Praxiteles (um 395 v. Chr.-320 v. Chr.).

Signed on the back “Fonderia Artistica Sommer/Napoli”.

Fine bronze casting, with accurately crafted crimped hair, beautiful dark greenish-grey patina. In the tradition of ancient paragons such as the Marathon Ephebe by Praxiteles (ca. 395 BC-320 BC).
