Paar sehr große Rokoko-Spiegelappliken

Weichholz, geschnitzt und vergoldet. Hochfeine Schnitzerei mit plastisch ausgebildeten Blüten, Blättern und Rocaillen, eine birnförmige Spiegelfront umspielend. Mit drei darunter angebrachten Brennstellen an naturalistisch ausgebildeten Armen, mit weiten Traufschalen und vergoldeter Bronzetülle. Überfangen durch plastische Blüten und fruktaler Reliefzier mit raumgreifendem Blattwerk über Rocaillereliefs. Rest., erg.

Schloss Seehof bei Bamberg, ein von dort stammendes Paar Wandappliken wurde am 27. April 2012 bei Sotheby´s, London, verkauft, Ergebnis: 24.000 Euro. Diese Gegenstücke zu dem hier angebotenen Paar befinden sich heute im Metropolitan Museum of Art New York,
