Bronze, gegossen, patiniert. Auf gestreckt hochrechteckigem Bildfeld jeweils eine stehende, antikisierend gekleidete Frauenfigur.
Barbedienne gründete 1839 Frankreichs berühmteste und produktivste Gießerei. Er erfand ein neuartiges Verfahren zur Reduktion von Skulpturen und fertigte Metallmöbel und kunstgewerbliche Objekte. (1381556) (4) (13)
