Beigegeben eine Zuschreibung durch Prof. Leonard J. Slatkes, New York, 21. Dezember 1997 sowie ein Gutachten von Gianni Papi, Florenz, 10. April 2017, jeweils in Kopie.
Halbbildnis des Heiligen, mit halb entblößtem Oberkörper, darüber ein Fell und ein rotes Tuch. Sein Haupt ist von einem goldenen kreisrunden Heiligenschein hinterfangen. Mit beiden Händen hält er ein weißes Lamm als Attributtier, das wie der Heilige selbst den Blickkontakt mit dem Betrachter aufnimmt, was ikonografisch als äußerst selten gesehen werden muss. Dahinter zieht links der Kreuzstab des Heiligen, dieser mit einem Rotulus, beschriftet in Majuskeln „MAGNUS“. Die Figur vor dunklem Hintergrund mit aufleuchtendem Inkarnat. Das Gemälde insgesamt von suggestiver Wirkung. (1380312) (18)
