Apothekengefäß mit nach innen gezogener Wandung und abgesetzter Lippe. Die Vorderseite dekoriert mit der Darstellung einer knienden, jungen Frau, männliche Geschlechtsteile in einen Korb legend. Darüber das Signaturband "AIBO FRUTI DONE" (die guten Früchte für die Frau). Die Rückseite mit großem Blattdekor der Frühzeit von Faenza. Ein alter Haarriss.

A Maiolica Albarello from Faenza, late 15th century
Height: 21.4 cm.
Faenza, late 15th century.

An earthernware jar with an inwardly drawn wall and a protruding lip. The front is decorated with a scene of a kneeling young woman laying male genitalia in a basket. Above is the banner: AIBO FRUTI DONE (the good fruit for the woman). On the back there is a large leaf decoration from the early period of Faenza.

Condition:
Old hairline crack.
