Julia Fullerton-Batten - heute in London ansässig - wuchs in den Vereinigten Staaten und Deutschland auf. Nach Ihrem Studium der Fotografie war sie zunächst als Assistentin bei verschiedenen Fotografen tätig und arbeitete darüber hinaus auch für das Vogue Magazine. Mittlerweile konzentriert sich Fullerton-Batton auf die künstlerische Fotografie, bei der stillebenartig komponierte Arrangements von Menschen in Landschaften, Städten oder Interieurs im Vordergrund ihres Schaffens stehen.
