Schüler von Giovanni Battista Foggini, wirkte als Bildhauer in mehreren Florentiner Kirchen wie etwa San Michele e Gaetano oder der Kirche San Filippo Neri. Mehrere Büsten seiner Hand befinden sich in öffentlichen Museen wie etwa in Liverpool, London, Köln sowie in Privatsammlungen.

TONBÜSTE EINER JUNGEN FRAU
Höhe: 70 cm.
In antiker Gewandung, das zurückgenommene Haar mittelgescheitelt, leicht wellig, das Kleid in diagonale von links zur Schulter hochziehende Falten gelegt, an der rechten Schulter zwei runde Schließknöpfe, der Dekolletérand gerüscht. Kopfhaltung und Gesichtsausdruck orientierten sich leicht an antiken Vorbildern der Hochklassik, wohingegen die Draperie des Gewandes ganz in der barocken Stilsprache aufgefasst ist. Rötlicher Ton.
