Piero Dorazio,
1927 Rom – 2005 Perugia
Zunächst studierte Dorazio Architektur bevor er nach Paris ging und dort seine Ausbildung an der Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts fortsetzte. In seinen abstrakten Werken verwendet er die reinen Grundfarben, die er miteinander verwebt. Beeinflusst wurden seine Arbeiten durch Raffael und Pollaiuolo ebenso wie durch die Futuristen, Kandinsky, Malewitsch oder Mondrian.
