Die abstrakte Komposition ist in Rot-Orange und Schwarz auf bräunlichem Papier gehalten. Das Werk ist zu Beginn seiner Auseinandersetzung mit dem ästhetischen Eigenwert von Plakatabrissen entstanden. Mit diesen "Décollagen" setzte er sich seit 1953 auseinander.

Eine handschriftliche Foto-Authentifizierung des Künstlers von 1990 liegt bei.
