Die Platte wellig gemuldet in Anlehnung an Beckenschlägerschüsseln des 15. Jahrhunderts. Der Spiegel konvex hervortretend, schmale Fahne. Die gesamte Platte ist weiß glasiert. Im Spiegel ist ein Wappen abgebildet. Es zeigt ein schwarzes "V" auf hellem Fond. Gerahmt ist es von einer leicht geschwungenen Kartusche, um die Bänder und Blätter laufen, oben eine Krone. Bemalung in Gelb, Orange, Blau und Schwarz. Guter Zustand.
Anmerkung:
Die Krone über dem Wappen verweist auf einen Grafen (Conte) als Auftraggeber. Ein ähnliches Wappen in Schwarz auf Silber der Familie Buonfantini. Ein Wappen, bei dem die Spitze des "V" nach oben zeigt, kann der Familie Savorgnan zugeordnet werden. (9300060)

Faenza, 16th century.
The dish is moulded with wavy gadroons borrowing from brass alm dishes of the 15th century. Bulging boss and narrow border. The whole plate is glazed in white. The boss depicts arms with a black 'V' on a light ground. Framed by a curved cartouche, which is surrounded by ribbons and leaves and a crown at the top. Painted in yellow, orange, blue and black. Good condition.
Notes: the crown of the coat of arms is suggestive of the Duke (Conte) having commissioned the plate. Similar arms in black on a silver ground belong to the Buonfantini family. Arms, where the tip of the 'V' points upwards can be attributed to the Savorgnan family.
