Spätmittelalterliches Tafelbild mit der neutestament- lichen Darstellung, wonach Jesus nur mit einem Lendentuch bekleidet in Fesseln von einem Knecht vorgeführt wird. Die Hauptfigur zwischen zwei schlanken Säulen eines Palastes stehend, rechts an der Brüstung Pilatus mit Kappe, Herrscherstab und der entsprechenden Handgeste. Darunter zwei Hohepriester im Gespräch, während links eine Gruppe von fünf geharnischten Soldaten mit Lanzen, Schwertern und einer Fahne auf den Verurteilten wartet. Links hinten Palastfassade mit zwei Rundbogenfenstern, aus denen zwei Personen blicken.
Anmerkung:
Laut schriftlicher Mitteilung vom 23. Januar 2010 von Ludwig Meyer kann in der Komposition ein Vorläufer Rueland Frueaufs d. J. gesehen werden, bzw. auch der Verweis auf Werke Frueaufs in der Galerie im Chorherrenstift Klosterneuburg bei Wien. (811082)

According to a written note by Ludwig Meyer, dating the 23. January 2010, the composition can be seen as a precursor to Rueland Frueauf the Younger respectively also the reference to works of Frueauf in the gallery of the Convent of Canons of Klosterneuburg near Vienna.
