In feinpinseliger Malerei ausgeführt. Die Personengruppen vor gebirgigem Landschaftshintergrund und einer Architekturruine in der rechten Bildhälfte, in welcher der Stall eingebaut ist. Die Könige mit Begleitung von links herantretend bzw. niederkniend.

Das Gemälde wurde dem Künstler durch technische und kunsthistorische Begutachtung zugeschrieben.
Gutachten:
Dem Gemälde ist ein ausführliches Gutachten von Alessandra Lucia Curuzzi, Milano, beigegeben, einschließlich materialtechnischer Analyse. Demnach wird das Werk in den Zeitraum zwischen 1565 und 1598 eingeordnet. Dazu zahlreiche Bildvergleiche, insbesondere der Flämischen Schule, die zur damaligen Zeit in Italien in starkem gegenseitigem Stileinfluss stand. (7801079)
