Jeweils 16,5 x 23,5 cm.
Jeweils links unten signiert und datiert “1840”.
Auf Passepartout geklebt. Verglast und modern gerahmt.
Die Gegenstücke mit jeweils identischen Landschaften. Eines der Bilder zeigt die um 1840 gegenwärtige Situation mit Burgruine mit Rundturm auf einem Felsen, am rechten Bildrand eine inzwischen ebenfalls ruinös gewordene Wegkapelle mit davor kniender Mutter und einem dabeisitzenden Kind. Links am Bildrand ein klassizistisches Gebäude.
Im Tal Dorf mit Kirche.
Das Gegenstück zeigt retrospektiv in romantischer Fantasie den einstigen Zustand der Burg, jedoch ohne das später hinzugewachsene Dorf und ohne das Gebäude am linken Bildrand. (730336)
