Bacchantinnen mir rückseitiger Signatur “Clodion“
Große Bronzeskulptur der beiden Bacchantinnen sich umarmend, in der rechten Hand der größeren Bacchantin, das Tamburin, in der linken Hand der nach vorne strebenden Bacchantin, die Trauben. Beide Figuren mit Traubendekor und Traubenblattmotiven dekoriert. Zu ihrer Seite der kleine Bacchussatyr ebenfalls Trauben zu Mund führend und den Kopf mit Weinblatt und Weintrauben bedeckt. Feine gelblich, braune Patina. Rückseitig die Bezeichnung “Clodion“ und die Datierung von “1762“. Nachguss des 19. Jahrhunderts auf rundem Marmorsockel mir umlaufendem Bronzeband montiert.
Höhe: 66 cm.
Frankreich, 19. Jahrhundert.
