Als erhöhter Betrachterstandpunkt ist hier der Torre dell' Orologio anzunehmen. Der Blick erfasst nahezu den gesamten Platz, belebt durch reiche Figurenstaffage. Die Gebäude stehen in hellem Licht, die Architekturdetails grafisch fein durchgearbeitet. Im blauen Himmel nur wenige ziehende Wolken. Als farbliche Raffinesse ist hier das Rot eingebracht, wobei die roten Gewänder in überlegter Verteilung mit den vier schlanken Fahnenmasten korrespondieren. In einem Fall wird dadurch auch das Hellbraun des Campanile wirkungsvoll belebt. Das Bildmotiv ist wiederholt belegt, jedoch jeweils mit unterschiedlichen Staffagedetails. A.R. (1351704) (11)
