Paar höchst elegante Empire-Zierlampen

Im hochklassizistischen Stil nach antiken Vorbildern. In feuervergoldeter und brünierter Bronze. Die Zieraufsätze in Form antiker Öllampen, in Form eines Schiffes, gestellt auf ein Schwanenpaar, das auf gekehltem Ovalsockel, wiederum auf einem quaderförmigen brünierten Sockel steht. An der Sockelvorderseite queroktogonale vergoldete Applikation mit Palmetten und einem reliefierten Kopf eines Wachhundes, wohl attributiv im Sinne des Nachtlichtes. Die schiffsförmige Öllampe mit nach oben ziehendem Bug, daran eine vergoldete Flamme über einer Neptunmaske. Wie eine Heckreling schwingen schlanke Blattvoluten hoch, über denen sich jeweils die Protome einer weiblichen Harpye mit weit ausgebreiteten Schwingen erhebt. An der Lampenoberseite ein runder Scheindeckel. Im höchst künstlerischen Entwurf, wie in der handwerklichen Ausführung von höfischer Qualität, die auf einen namhaften Künstler schließen lässt. A.R. High classical style lamps in fire-gilt and burnished bronze based on ancient models. The decorative attachments in the shape of antique oil lamps, a ship, placed on a pair of swans, standing on grooved oval base, in turn mounted on a cuboid, burnished base with a round false cover on the top of the lamp. The highly artistic design and craftsmanship of courtly quality suggests a well-known artist.
