In Holz geschnitzt, gefasst und vergoldet. Über gekantetem Stand im Kontrapost stehende Figur der Heiligen Mutter Gottes mit reich gefältetem Gewand, ihr Kind an ihrer Seite tragend und von einer Krone überfangen, die sie als Himmelskönigin auszeichnet. Das Jesuskind in spielerischer Bewegung mit lachendem Gesicht, das Gesicht der Mutter mit sanftem Blick, was die Gruppe in die Nähe der schönen Madonnen des 15. Jahrhunderts rückt. Vergleichbar ist etwa die „Maria mit dem Kind“ (Krumlov Maria mit Kind) in der Nationalgalerie in Prag und die Breslauer „Barmia mit dem Kind“ im Naradowe Museum in Warschau. Besch.
