Auf ovalem Grund die eben gearbeitete Basis mit darauf schräg sitzendem knapp bekleideten Knaben in antikischer Manier. Er ist zugewandt einer Gans, die er mit seinen Händen umfasst. Der klassizistische Bildhauer nimmt eine Idee von Boethus, dem griechischen Bildhauer aus dem 2. Jahrhundert vor Christus wieder auf, von dessen Original eine römische Kopie in der Glyptothek in München und in den Vatikanischen Museen zu sehen ist. (12810310) (13)
