In einer weiten hügeligen Landschaft unter hohem blauen Himmel mit weißen Wolken eine breite Landstraße, die vom breiten Vordergrund nach hinten rechts zum Horizont führt. Linksseitig wird sie durch eine Reihe von Gebäuden und Bäumen flankiert, im Hintergrund rechts ein weiteres Haus. Auf der Straße eine große Anzahl von Hirten mit ihren Kühen und Schafen, die teils im Vordergrund links an einem Gewässer Station machen. Rechtsseitig ist eine Reisegruppe mit Planwagen hintereinander unterwegs und im Vordergrund zwei elegant gekleidete Reiter und ein Hirte mit Schafen. Vielfigurige, belebte Darstellung in differenzierter Farbgebung. Minimale Retuschen. (1270756) (18)
