In für den Maler typischer starker Farbigkeit erstrahlt die Blütenkomposition inmitten von Rundbögen und neben einem figürlichen Brunnen, aus welchem Wasser sprudelt. Die unterschiedlichen Blumen sehen besonders opulent aus neben dem grünen Bewuchs, welcher aus den Spalten der Architektur hervorkommt und den Zypressen, welche hinter dem Rundbogen erscheinen. Gerade die Kombination von Blüten in Terrakotta- oder Marmorgefäßen nebst Brunnen spiegelt sich im Werk des genannten Künstlers häufig wieder, so finden wir am 07.12.2007 unter Los 237 bei Christie´s London ein Gemälde, welches ebensolche Merkmale aufweist.
