Vor dunklem Hintergrund befindet sich auf einer Platte, die teils mit einem edlen Teppich bedeckt ist, die leuchtende, mit plastischen Miniaturen besetzte, wertvolle asiatische Chinoiserie-Schale mit türkisfarbener Malerei. Der Deckel ist leicht geöffnet und der Knauf ist ebenfalls in Gold plastisch ausgearbeitet. Flankiert wird sie von einem hohen schmalen Flötenglas, einem großen Römerglas mit Weißwein, auf dem gekonnt Lichtreflexe gesetzt wurden, und ein weiteres Glas. Im Vordergrund liegt eine leuchtend gelbe Zitrone mit bandförmig abgeschälter Schale und dazugehörigem Messer sowie ein samtig wirkender Pfirsich. Gekonnte prachtvolle Malerei mit starken Hell-Dunkel-Kontrasten. Durch die unterschiedliche Stofflichkeit der einzelnen Objekte wird die Könnerschaft des Künstlers besonders hervorgehoben.
