Von besonderem Reiz sind die in zeitgenössischer Kleidung eingebrachten Figuren, die sich in kleinen Gruppen in dem großen Raum bewegen, in dem auch Epitaph, Seitenaltäre und eine hochbarocke Kartusche zu erkennen sind. Daneben fein gemalte, lange herabhängende Metalllüster.
Die Zuschreibung an den genannten Künstler durch Ellis Dullaart, RKD.
Die Kunstwissenschaftlerin sieht sowohl im Kolorit der Figurengestaltung, als auch in der Komposition weitgehende Übereinstimmung zu weiteren Werken des Malers. In der Diskussion stand auch eine Zuschreibung an Jan Jurriaensz van Baden (um 1604-1663), wobei dann die Figuren von Anthonie Palamedes (1601-1673) stammen sollten.

The art scientist Ellis Dullaart from the RKD attributed the painting to van der Vucht. According to her, the colouration of the figures and the composition are largely in accordance with other works by this painter. Jan Jurriaensz. van Baden (ca. 1604 - 1663) was also discussed as a potential creator, while the figures were supposed to be painted by Anthonie Palamedesz. (1601 - 1673). The painting is recorded at the RKD database with no. 249024.
This object has been individually compared to the information in the Art Loss Register data bank and is not registered there as stolen or missing.
