Piero Dorazio,
1927 Rom – 2005 Perugia
Zunächst studierte Dorazio Architektur, bevor er nach Paris ging und dort seine Ausbildung an der Ecole nationale supérieure des beaux-arts fortsetzte. In seinen abstrakten Werken verwendet er die reinen Grundfarben, die er miteinander verwebt. Beeinflusst wurden seine Arbeiten durch Raffael und Pollaiuolo ebenso wie durch die Futuristen, Kandinsky, Malewitsch oder Mondrian.ECOROSSO, 1988 Öl auf Leinwand.

Piero Dorazio,
1927 Rome – 2005 Perugia
Dorazio first studied architecture and then went to Paris where he continued his studies at the École nationale supérise des beaux-arts. In his abstract works he uses primary colours that he intertwines with one another. His work was especially influenced by Raphael and Pollaiuolo as well as by the Futurists Kandinsky, Malevich and Mondrian.
