14 kt Vergoldung. Rechtecksockel auf Kugelfüßen, darauf nach oben sich leicht verjüngender Ovalkegel mit Fronttürchen zum Einlegen des Schlüssels. Darüber ein vollplastischer Pfauenvogel, geschmückt mit Türkissteinen und blauer geschliffener Glasperle. Allseitig aufwändig in feiner Ziseliertechnik dekoriert, mit Rocaillen, Vögeln und Festons sowie mit aufgelegten Harfe spielenden Putten. Im Sockel Walzenspielwerk. Gangbar, jedoch verharzt. Gilt with 14-ct gold. Body in a slightly tapered oval cone shape with a little door at the front to insert the key and set on a rectangular base with compressed ball feet. Surmounted by a three-dimensional peacock decorated with turquoise and cut blue glass pearls. The box finely chased all around with rocaille, birds and festoon ornaments and applied with putti playing the harp. Music box cylinder movement in base. In working order but with resin residues.
