Die Landschaft abendlich abgedunkelt, die Putten von links oben wirkungsvoll beleuchtet. Im Zentrum ein Amorknabe, der ein junges Täubchen in der rechten Hand emporhält, während die Knaben dabei zusehen. Von dunklem, bewachsenem Fels zieht links ein schwerer Früchte-Feston herab, an dem zwei weitere Putten emporklettern. Im Hintergrund landschaftlicher Durchblick zum Horizont mit einer dazwischen stehenden Parkvase, im rechten Bildrand ein höfisches Gebäude. Das Bildthema, das den Zusammenhang zwischen reifen Früchten und dem Vogel herstellt, ist in barocker Bildtradition als Anspielung auf die irdische Liebe zu verstehen. Stilllebenhaft sind die Früchte des Festons, aber auch die in der rechten unteren Bildecke liegenden Kürbisse neben Trauben und Äpfeln aufgefasst. (1011664) (11)
