In den 1950er Jahren kam es zu einer fruchtbaren Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Möbel-Designer-Familie Borsani und dem bedeutenden italienischen Künstler. Neben Pomodoro konnte er auch Lucio Fontana oder Aligi Sassu für innovativen Möbelentwürfe verpflichten.
Die von Pomodoro für die Firma entworfenen Bettköpfe wurden in nur sehr geringer Auflage hergestellt und fanden nie ihren Weg in die serielle Produktion. Minimal besch.
