Die Gegenstände auf einer kräftigen Tischplatte abgelegt. Der Bildaufbau betont eine Diagonale von links oben nach rechts unten, wobei links die große, bauchige Zinnkanne steht, im Zentrum der Darstellung der lichtdurchflutete Glaspokal, gefüllt mit Weißwein, dahinter Weinranken und dunkle Trauben. Der heller ins Licht gesetzte Vordergrund zeigt links Apfel und Pfirsich, rechts einen auf eine Zinnplatte abgelegten Schinken, davor Walnüsse und Kirschen. Der Lichteinfall von links wirft markante Lichtreflexe auf die glatten Oberflächen der Gefäße und hellt den zentralen, grünlichen Hintergrund auf, der sich nach den Seiten hin abdunkelt. Stimmungsvolle Lichtwirkung, wie stets bei den Gemälden von Rang des genannten Künstlers.
