Rechteckiger Kasten. Allseitig reich dekoriert mit Mosaikintarsien. Der Deckel hochgewölbt und gerade geschlossen. Die obere Deckenfläche ebenfalls mit Felder bildenden Intarsienrahmungen dekoriert. Kanten der Schatulle ebenfalls mit Elfenbeinbänderungen versehen. An der Front ehemals Schloss an Rosette mit Öse (Schlempe nicht mehr vorhanden). Innenauskleidung in modernem, rotem Samt. Einige altersbedingte Dekorationsausbrüche.
