Giuseppe de Nittis,
1846 Barletta – 1884 Saint-Germain/ Paris
Italienischer Maler des Impressionismus. Er war einer der Gründer der Schule von Resina in Neapel. Später zog de Nittis nach Paris, wo er bis zu seinem Tode lebte. In Paris lernte er Camille Pissarro, Gustave Caillebotte, Giovanni Boldini, John Singer Sargent, Jacques-Émile Blanche, Edvard Munch und Edgar Degas, der seine Werke später beeinflusste, kennen. KLEINER ENTENTEICH IM WALD VON BOULON Pastell/ Mischtechnik auf Karton.
