Vor einem abgedunkelten Hintergrund eines Waldstücks sind auf einer Steinplatte ein großer Deckelkorb mit erlegten Rebhühnern und Vögeln dargestellt, rechts eine Wildente, dazwischen weiteres Geflügel. Die Diagonale des Bildes wird durch die schräg an die Baum gelehnte Jagdflinte erzeugt. Die Beleuchtung gänzlich auf Federvieh und Korb konzentriert, mit einigen Lichteffekten an den fein gemalten Lederriemen mit Metallschlaufe, die vom Korbdeckel herabzieht. (980758) (11)
