Jeweils zylindrische, nach oben sich kehlig stark weitende Form mit kantigen Seitenhenkeln. In der mittleren Banderole jeweils reliefbeschriftet mit Devisen wie "Durch Krieg zum Sieg" oder "Pro Patria". Jeweils mit Jahreszahl des Kriegsbeginns "1914" sowie den Entstehungsjahreszahlen "1916" bzw. "1917". Schöne Eisenpatina, jeweils mit Pistill. In den Kriegsjahren 1916 und 1917 war der Bedarf an Kupfer, Messing und Buntmetall zur Kriegsführung derart knapp geworden, dass in der Bevölkerung um Spenden von Metallobjekten (aber auch von Gold) aufgerufen wurde, nach dem Sinnspruch "Gold gab ich für Eisen". Insofern sind die Mörser bemerkenswerte Dokumente dieser Zeit. (970565)
