Der Portraitierte im Dreiviertelbildnis in Rüstung wiedergegeben, in der rechten Hand der Marshallstab, die linke auf einen Helm gestützt. Der Blick gilt dem Betrachter, das Gesicht gerahmt von dunkler Allongeperücke. Links im Hintergrund sind die brennenden Häuser einer Stadt zu sehen, was wohl auf ein Kriegsereignis eines seiner siegreichen Feldzüge Bezug nimmt. Rest.
Anmerkung:
Der Dargestellte war schwedischer Amtsmann und Militärbefehlshaber der Kavallerie, wurde 1693 Generalmajor, 1698 General und Generalgouverneur in Bremen/ Verden. 1705 zum königlichen Rat erhoben, 1709 Feldmarschall und Präsident des Kriegskollegiums. Er studierte in Rostock und Königsberg. (9708254)
