Die beiden Giebelhäuser im Bild bewusst nach rechts versetzt, davor zwei stehende und ein an einem Erdhügel sitzender Mann mit Meerschaumpfeife im Gespräch. Weiter hinten links ein Feldweg, der nach unten führt mit einem nach hinten ziehenden Bauernpaar. Am Horizont locker stehende junge Bäume sowie eine Kirche mit hohem Spitzturm.
