Im Schriftband ligiertes Monogramm"SG" (möglicherweise für den Serafino Grassi?).
Wohl Pesaro, zweite Hälfte 16. Jahrhundert.

Auf gekehltem Fuß eine gemuldete Schale. In der Manier von "Istoriato"-Dekoren über die gesamte Fläche des Spiegels die Wandung empor eine "Bella Donna"-Darstellung. Die anmutige, junge Dame ist in Büstenansicht im Profil nach links vor blauem Untergrund wiedergegeben. Das Haar ist mit einem Tuch am Hinterkopf hochgebunden, eine Krause läuft um ihren Hals. Links neben ihr ein Schriftband "Livia B", "B" für "Bella". Die Bemalung in Blau, Grün, Gelb und dunklem Ocker vor cremeweißem Fond. Glasurbrandfehler, rest. am Rand. (961012)

Painted scroll with monogram "SG" in ligature (possibly for Serafino Grassi?).
Probably Pesaro, second half of the 16th century.
Painted scroll on the left hand side of the bella donna "Livia B", "B" standing for bella. Glaze defect, rim restored.
