Querrechteckige, im Flach- und Hochrelief beschnitzte Elfenbeinplatte mit Darstellung des auf einer antiken Kline schlafenden, nackten Amors, der Bogen und Pfeileköcher auf dem Boden abgelegt hat. Neben ihm auf dem Kissen kniend die Psyche, die ihn der Mytho-logie entsprechend mit einem Nachtlicht heimlich belauscht und hier in der Darstellung sein Glied in der linken Hand hält. Rechts im Hintergrund ein rauchender Kandelaber. Elfenbeinplatte mit schöner Alterspatina und einigen altersbedingten Schwundrissen in ebonisiertem Rähmchen. (9516882)
